Too Easy for E-Steve

One of the biggest surprises came off the bench in the form of Erik Stevenson, as the West Virginia product drained a trifecta of three-pointers for 13 points to lead the second unit in scoring. Though he was slow out of the gate, possibly from some first-quarter jitters, Stevenson found his groove and helped the Spurs add to their humungous lead. The 6-foot-4 guard also dished two assists and didn't commit a single turnover as he played the prototypical brand of Spurs basketball.

Stevenson's ability to shoot the way he did against the Hornets will most likely be the reason he could end up on an NBA roster in some capacity this season. The rookie marksman is someone fans should keep an eye on as a supporting cast member who could be instrumental to the Spurs finding Summer League success.
