3.) Blake Wesley

This one may be a bit of a head scratcher, as most fans would think forwards and centers stand to benefit the most from Wembanyama’s absence. They will, but Blake Wesley will also have a shot to put himself on the map.

During the game against Portland last weekend, Wesley said his goal for Summer League was to get better at making decisions. Now that Victor has been shut down, Wesley has an opportunity to show the staff that he can make the right reads and minimize turnovers.

San Antonio doesn't have a clear-cut number one option for the rest of Summer League, and being able to get everyone involved could make Blake a candidate to assume that role. Helping the Spurs play team basketball is only going to benefit them moving forward.

Not only that, but the Spurs are still sorting out the point guard position. A strong performance from Wesley could solidify his spot in the lineup.
