2. Who will survive out of the veteran wings?
The San Antonio Spurs had an interesting problem between the trio of Cedi Osman, Reggie Bullock, and fan favorite Doug McDermott with training camp looming. While all of these wings have good skill sets, primarily shooting, keeping all three is almost redundant. Accordingly, the report came out on Saturday that the club would buy out Reggie Bullock:
The San Antonio Spurs and veteran wing Reggie Bullock have agreed to a contract buyout, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Bullock is set to enter free agency where several championship contenders and playoff teams will pursue him.

As far as the others, what it will come down to is who is the better fit among this core. Will they value Doug's shooting or Osman's mobility the most? Doug also has great value with his established tenure in San Antonio, but his abysmal defense might be too much to overlook.
Cedi, however, is more of a mystery when it comes to how the Spurs will use him.

Ideally, the San Antonio Spurs package one or even two in a separate trade that nets them a pick or a better-fitting player. The player who fits the best and buys into what the Spurs are doing the most will be left standing. It is absolutely a good problem to have, but it is something that needs to be addressed at some point.
