2024 NBA Mock Draft 5.0: Spurs find point guard, Raptors keep lottery selection

23. Milwaukee Bucks (via Pelicans) take Bobi Klintman
The Bucks are known for drafting length and upside. It worked out handsomely with Giannis Antetokounmpo, but they do not always hit. The franchise is all-in on building a contender around their superstar. Finding a role player in the draft that blossoms into a key rotation piece would help their cause.
Klintman spent the 2022-23 season at Wake Forest and many thought he would be a first-round pick last year before he decided to withdraw and head to the NBL in Australia. The 6’10 forward averaged 10.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.0 steal in 21.6 minutes per game this season. He primarily came off the bench but continued to flash his upside.
Klintman can handle the ball, make plays, space the floor, and guard multiple positions on his best days. He will never become Giannis, but having a forward capable of grabbing a rebounding and pushing the break is a plus. The 21-year-old made over one 3-pointer every game this season and has the upside to defend every player on the floor.
The Bucks' love for size and versatility makes this the perfect fit. Can they develop him into a starter and key contributor? The potential is there, but the consistency must improve.
