4. Charlotte Hornets snag Cody Williams

The Hornets are building around LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, and Mark Williams. If they believe they have their point guard, go-to scorer, and big man, Charlotte should be looking for wing depth and versatile two-way options in this draft.

Cody Williams is 6’8 with length and athletic ability. His older brother, Jalen, went 12th overall in 2022 and instantly popped in the NBA. Jalen looks like a star for the Thunder, and the younger Williams is taller and longer. There is no guarantee Cody will become a star, but he should be a role player for several years and certainly has upside.

The 19-year-old is averaging 12.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 0.8 steals in 29.7 minutes per game for Colorado. Several injuries limited him to just 20 games, but Williams shot 56.7 percent from the field and 43.2 percent on his threes, despite limited attempts.
