2. Washington Wizards take Zaccharie Risacher

Risacher feels like a locked-in top-two selection unless a trade shakes up the order. The 6’8 French wing is ready to come in and play in the NBA immediately and has the upside to be a piece that every contending team covets.

The 19-year-old has already played four seasons of professional basketball. This year, he averaged 11.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 23.3 minutes per game for JL Bourg-en-Bresse in France. He made 38.7 percent of his 3-point attempts and his floor spacing is crucial. Risacher’s jumper improved significantly in 2024 and it helped him vault into a top-two selection.

Every team is searching for a 6’8 wing capable of guarding multiple positions and knocking down jumpers. Risacher takes his game to another level by adding in playmaking and a high basketball IQ. If he can blossom into an 18-point per-game 3-and-D wing with some added offensive juice, whoever selects him will be ecstatic.

The Washington Wizards just finished year one of a total rebuild. They are desperately searching for talent and are eager to add on the wings. The Wiz pair Risacher with Bilal Coulibaly as a dynamic duo to start building their foundation. The 6’8 wing may never be an All-Star, but finding a key rotation piece for the next 15 years is a massive win in an uncertain draft.
