35. Spurs pick Alex Karaban

The 6’8 forward is a lights out shooter, who helped UConn win back-to-back NCAA championships. He made 38.9 percent of his 378 threes over the last two years. The 21-year-old has a high basketball IQ and knows how to impact winning. There are questions about his defense and athletic ability, but the Spurs have Wemby.

San Antonio finished 28th in 3-point percentage in 2024 but was 16th in makes thanks to their attempts. Adding a plus-shooting forward capable of spreading the floor would be a massive win in the second round. There is no guarantee Alex Karaban will last this long, but he is a strong fit in the Alamo.
