Victor Wembanyama's debut tour was nothing short of spectacular; regardless of the number of wins in the record book, it's clear that Wemby will dominate for a long time. From jaw-dropping highlights and statement takeovers to earning the respect of current and former legends of the game, Spurs and basketball fans have been able to pick up their popcorn and enjoy every time this guy is on the floor.

It's become clockwork for fans to say, "I've never seen that before," when watching Wembanyama play the game. Every night, he could do something that'd never been seen before. Which is why we've invented the Wemby Tracker! Any time Victor recorded an amazing stat, it was added to this page and now there is a long list of accomplishments that Wemby holds under his belt!

11/2/23 - Victor records 38/10/2 BLKS/1 STL on 50% from three

In Victor's fifth NBA game, against the Phoenix Suns, Wembanyama recorded a career-high 38 points, ten rebounds, two blocks, and one steal on 57.7% shooting from the floor and 50% from three-point range.

This would be the first unheard-of category in which Victor would cement himself among rookies who've recorded 35 points, ten rebounds, two blocks, and one steal on 50% from three. The French phenom would be the third to join Kevin Durant and Michael Jordan, who did it twice. This would be an introductory showcase of what Wembanyama could be capable of.

11/18/23 - Victor joins Duncan and Robinson as only Spurs rookies with 8 blocks in a game

In a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies, Victor would begin to show the dominance he could provide on the defensive end of the floor with EIGHT blocks. San Antonio would lose their eighth straight, but Wemby would be the talk of the town that night.

With the block count, Victor would join Tim Duncan, who did it twice, and David Robinson, who did it six times, as the only Spurs rookies to have eight rejections in a game.

12/8/23 - Wemby becomes youngest ever to record 20 PTS & 20 REBS

In a game in which the Spurs fell short 121-112 to the Chicago Bulls, Victor became the youngest player in NBA history to record 20 points and 20 rebounds.

The record was previously set by Orlando's Dwight Howard, who recorded 21 points and 20 rebounds. Victor would have the same box score. Victor accomplished this milestone at 19 years and 338 days old, while Howard was 19 and 342 days old, making these two the only teenagers to record a 20-point, 20-rebound game.

12/13/23 - Youngest to record 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks

It wouldn't take long for Wemby to level up from his 20-20 display over Chicago. In his first matchup with Lakers star Anthony Davis, Victor would show the world that he was capable of going toe-to-toe with the league's best big men.

In his clash with Davis, Victor would become the youngest player in NBA history to put up 30 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks. Despite the incredible performance, the Spurs would fall short, 122-119.

2/12/24 - Youngest to record a triple-double with blocks

Amid the annual Rodeo Road Trip, the Spurs would stop up north to duel with the Toronto Raptors. Victor would block everything in this matchup, including spam calls and ex-girlfriends. Wemby would record his second triple-double of the year, recording 27 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 blocks.

This performance would make Wembanyama the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double with blocks at 20 years and 40 days old. This would be the first ten-block game in the league since Clint Capela did it in January 2022.

Victor's dominance would help the Spurs cruise to a victory over the Raptors by a final score of 122-99.

2/23/24 - Victor records 5x5 against the Lakers

Victor shows up for the battle with Lakers forward Anthony Davis. A previous game was already mentioned where he would cement himself in the record books. In a later matchup with Los Angeles, Victor would have 27 points, ten rebounds, eight assists, five blocks and five steals.

Ten days after his triple-double with blocks, Wembanyama became the youngest player in history to record a 5x5 box score at 20 years and 50 days, shattering the previous record held by Utah's Andrei Kirilenko, who did it at 22 years and 288 days old.

While Wemby stuffed the stat sheet, the Spurs would fall short to the Lakers 123-118.

3/3/24 - Youngest to record 30+ points, 10+ rebounds, 5+ assists, and 5+ blocks

Coming off a dominant performance over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Victor would give the Spurs their first winning streak since January 26th and 27th.

In an all-around display, Victor would become the youngest player in NBA history to record 30+ points, 10+ rebounds, 5+ assists, and 5+ blocks. Victor accomplished this feat at 20 years and 59 days old, surpassing Orlando's Shaquille O'Neal, who did it at 21 years and 279 days old.

This wouldn't be the first time Wemby would reach this stat line. In a game against the Brooklyn Nets, Victor would put up 33 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, and seven blocks, and in battle with the 76ers, the alien would fill the stat sheet with 33 points, 18 rebounds, six assists, and seven blocks.

3/29/24 - 40 points and 20 rebounds completely rewrites the history books

In his first matchup with the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden, Knicks fans were chanting "overrated" toward Wembanyama, and he took that personally.

In the rematch at Frost Bank Center, Victor would take control from start to finish, recording 40 points, 20 rebounds, and seven assists. His performance would lead the Spurs to the win despite Jalen Brunson's 61-point barrage.

Wembanyama would cement himself amongst NBA legends by becoming the first rookie, once again, Shaq, to rack up a 40-point, 20-rebound double-double. Victor would also become the second-youngest in history to accomplish the stat line, behind John Drew of the Atlanta Hawks.

The 20-year-old also became the first rookie in NBA history with 35+ points, 20+ rebounds, 5+ assists, and 3+ makes from three-point range.

Wembanyama's rookie season was a highlight reel

Victor finished the year with averages of 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 3.6 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game on shooting splits of 46.5% from the floor, 32.5% from three-point range, and 79.6% from the foul stripe.

While his stellar play has yet to translate into the win column, the Spurs have their future face of the franchise in Wembanyama. It'll be another six months till we see him take the floor for the Silver and Black, but he left no shortage of highlights to keep us entertained in the offseason and he's only sure to add more during the Summer Olympics.
