San Antonio Spurs: 1 Stud, 1 dud from narrow loss to Lakers

San Antonio Spurs Stud: Keldon Johnson
Nobody on the Spurs played longer than Keldon Johnson on Sunday, and there was a good reason for that. The third-year forward had his best game of the season and one of the best ones of his career, scoring 24 points and securing six rebounds while stroking it from the outside.
Johnson's six made threes were a career-high for a game and a very welcome site after his lowly 3-of-23 start from beyond the arc. Needing just nine attempts for those made threes, his season average is now back up to a much more respectable 34.2%.
MAKE THAT 4! ☔️

Keldon did a little of everything against the Lakers in his season-high 39 minutes, including dish out two assists and snag six boards.
While it would've been nice to see him get to the free throw line as the leader of the team in attempts, this was a nice showcase for him to prove he can do more than cut to the basket for strong finishes.
Let's hope this version of Keldon Johnson become more of the norm and not an outlier.
