San Antonio Spurs 2020 NBA Draft - Devin Vassell

After one season, Devin Vassell has proven to be the right pick thus far. Vassell was a solid rotation player as a rookie who played well defensively and knocked down open threes. Next season, Vassell will likely play a bigger role where he can show off his underrated offensive game while also continuing to develop on the defensive end.

Vassell probably isn't going to be a star, though he definitely appears capable of being a very good two-way starter. Considering he was taken 11th overall, Vassell seems to be a great selection by the Spurs.

Grade: A

Overall, San Antonio made a number of great selections from 2015-2020. On the other hand, they made an obvious mistake drafting Milutinov and also clearly reached when they took Samanic.

Still, the team's recent draft history is among the best in the NBA. If San Antonio has similar success drafting in the lottery in the coming years, the team's rebuild could be a short one.
