The San Antonio Spurs (0-1) tip off against The Indiana Pacers (0-1) at 7:00pn CST later today in Indianapolis. The Spurs have dropped their season opener to the Hornets in ugly fashion and hope to regain some dignity. The Spurs enter as the one-point underdog, despite the Pacers playing without Daniel Theis or Myles Turner.

Lock of the night: Keldon Johnson to record a double-double, +300 on FanDuel

Injury report: Spurs are fully healthy, Pacers are playing without Theis, Turner

Please note that betting odds are always changing and updated

Without Theis and Turner, I suspect the Pacers will have a poor rebounding night, opening up Johnson to crash the boards, which is a steal at +300 odds. Last year, the Pacers were a below-average rebounding team, and short two big men, I do not think Johnson will have much competition.

The matchup to watch tonight will be Tyrese Haliburton and Devin Vassell. Vassell is coming off a horrible start to the season against the Hornets, and matching up against Haliburton will be no easy task on either end of the floor. Haliburton is an elite shooter and defender, so as long as Vassell keeps up, fans should be happy.

Coach Popovich's plan for Jeremy Sochan is exactly the right call. dark. Next

After this game, the Spurs travel to take on the Sixers. With no rest between games, this should be a very tough stretch for the Spurs.
