The San Antonio Spurs enjoyed the good fortune of having three future Hall of Famers on the squad for the better part of their glorious run in the NBA, but they couldn't have done it all alone.
Sure, Tim Duncan was the centerpiece of all five of the Spurs' championships. Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili were important sidekicks and sometimes centerpieces themselves at times. But as I've been emphasizing throughout Championship Week, it took a total team effort for San Antonio to reach the pinnacle all five times they did.
In looking at their supporting cast throughout the 15-year period they dominated the league, two names stood out to me as the most important ones toward the Spurs' success. If you've previously read my rankings of all 43 Spurs from championship playoff rosters, you might already have some idea who these two guys are.
