After a summer full of speculation and uncertainty, the time has almost arrived to hear from the San Antonio Spurs themselves. All 30 NBA teams will be holding their Media Days on September 27th, 2021 at varying times, with many of them offering livestreams for viewing.
The Spurs made several moves this offseason, highlighted by their trade of DeMar DeRozan to the Chicago Bulls and signing of Doug McDermott to a three-year deal. With Rudy Gay and Patty Mills also departing, San Antonio suddenly has one of the youngest rosters in the league and seems to finally be embracing their youthful core.
There are many questions still up in the air about the state of the team, including who will eventually be cut to meet the maximum number of 15 players on the roster and two two-way players before the season begins. The rotation and depth chart of the roster is also up for grabs in several different positions on this squad.
As the Spurs look to return to the hardwood for training camp on September 28th, here's how you can catch them on Media Day to see what the team and coaching staff has to say about the 2021-22 season.
