Justin Lewis can defend multiple positions

What most excites me about the prospect of Lewis in the silver and black is his impact on the defensive end. With quick feet and the size to defend multiple positions, Lewis has all the physical tools you'd want in a modern stretch four. His ability to make quick adjustments on switches and recover effectively bodes well as he makes his transition to the pros.

Given time and coaching, Lewis' ceiling as a defensive stopper can be high because of his physical attributes as a big wing and his instincts. He is a dependable on and off-ball defender and rebounder that will be able to be used in a variety of ways with his switchability.

Overall, I really like Justin Lewis as a high-value pick for San Antonio in the second round. They'd be getting a physically gifted forward with a high motor and solid defensive skill. Offensively, Lewis isn't perfect, but he's refined enough that he can break you down off the dribble or shoot over the top of you.

When he's not doing that, he's moving off the ball and making life easier for his teammates in other ways. Lewis is one of the hidden gems of this draft class, and I would love to see the Spurs give him a chance.
