The San Antonio Spurs officially know where they'll be selecting in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft. Despite having an eight percent chance of moving into the top four of a stacked draft class, the odds landed as expected for the Silver and Black, who will be selecting in their expected 12th spot.

While moving up into the top four would've been ideal, it's still likely the Spurs will be able to find a difference-maker at the 12th spot. Even still, it's not out of the question that San Antonio could propose a trade to move up if they're really set on getting someone like Evan Mobley or Jonathan Kuminga.

Last year, the Spurs were able to find a gem in Devin Vassell with the 11th pick, whom I believe can be one of the franchise's cornerstones in the near future. In a class like this year's, there's no reason they can't find another one if they choose carefully.
