3. Torrey Craig - SF, Indiana Pacers
Over the summer, I made a 20-second case for the Spurs pursuing Torrey Craig from the Phoenix Suns that included an impressive highlight of his on-court efforts. Not much as changed as far as my want for him to wear the Silver and Black.
Although Craig is now on the Indiana Pacers, he still demonstrates the same hustle, defense, and toughness that made him stand out with the Suns. He's down to 5.0 points and 3.1 rebounds per game on a Pacers team headed nowhere, so I'm not sure he'd mind a change of venue, even if it meant his limited minutes might decrease or stay about the same.
Craig shot nearly 37% from three in his time on Milwaukee and Phoenix last season but has gotten off to a rough start in that department this season at just 26.4%. Much like Green, though, he'd be a good plug-and-play option at either small forward or shooting guard in San Antonio and could help the Spurs' ever-improving defense.
Since the Pacers are having a fire sale to fully rebuild this season, Craig could be one to watch as a throw-in with a trade for one of either Myles Turner or Domantas Sabonis.
