1. Duncan Robinson - Miami Heat
Wouldn't it be nice to see someone in Silver and Black who shot 42.7 percent from beyond the arc over the last two seasons? That's exactly what Duncan Robinson has done in Miami. He's also been doing it on 8.4 attempts per game, which would lead the Spurs in that category.
Robinson is the definition of a knockdown shooter, with his main weapon being the outside shot and a free throw that's nearly automatic. While the undrafted wing played only 15 games in his rookie season, he's evolved into an important starter in Miami, averaging 13.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game over the last two seasons.
With the Miami Heat down 2-0 in their series against the Milwaukee Bucks, it's looking like their offseason is coming soon, and what an uncertain offseason it's going to be. The team has 11 free agents to handle this summer, with Duncan's $1 million expiring contract being one of them. Since he's restricted, the Heat would have a chance to match offers, but they have so much else to do this offseason that their funds to do so are limited.
Whether the Spurs throw a bag at Robinson will depend on how confident they are that they can improve his defense while also taking full advantage of his shooting. Even though is defense has been suspect at times, you can't teach size, and the Spurs could certainly use his 6-7 frame as well.
