9. Nic Claxton (Restricted)
Entering the league at 20 years old, Nic Claxton has shown starter-level play with the Brooklyn Nets but has only started in 20 total games. Brooklyn's logjam at the five position was an issue all season long, and it's not a surprise that Steve Nash decided to increase the minutes of his young center when the playoffs came around.
Unfortunately for the Nets, the all-around dysfunction centered around the Kyrie Irving drama and James Harden quitting didn't really allow for Claxton to blossom as he should've. With all that said, restricted free agency is going to be interesting for him, as Brooklyn previously dangled him in a trade deadline deal that ultimately fell through.
My gut tells me Brooklyn will want to retain Nic in the end, and they control his fate after all. But if there's any chance to add his above-the-rim play, passion, and vigor to the Spurs, they need to take it.
