The San Antonio Spurs turned in another sloppy performance in an eye-sore loss to the Chicago Bulls, 114-95. Victor Wembanyama played his second-lowest minute total of the season. He seemed to be moving fine in his first game back from resting his sore ankle, but this staff is known for being cautious, so that is not unusual. What's peculiar is running an offense so baffling that the opposing team's announcers center a conversation around it.

The inconsistency of a young team is one thing, but the flat-out disregard, disinterest, or inability to pass the ball to a wide-open 7'4" player in the middle of the paint is inexcusable. The Bulls broadcast team was able to hear Wemby yelling for his teammates to throw the ball up, finding the trouble of connecting with the rookie confusing.

A flower should not have to beg you to water it, as its growth benefits nature and the planet as a whole. Fans are frustrated watching a group of professionals struggle to do something as simple as complete an entry pass with consistency to an egregiously tall human and they are letting it out on X.

There were a couple of positives but they were all paired with negatives. Zach Collins found his shot and finished the game shooting 50% from beyond the arc but his defense was poor and he had the lowest plus/minus total on the team at -20. Tre Jones shot 4/6 from the field but had one of his worst nights as a distributor posting only two assists to five turnovers. Most fans would just enjoy beating up on their team's opponents but the offense is so ugly, nobody can find joy.

Another night, another lackluster effort. Fans understand that the team's youth plays a big factor, but nobody is expecting this squad to compete for championships. What is expected is visible growth, and for the guys who have been here for years, they are not showing enough.
