The 5 most unbreakable records in Spurs franchise history

1. David Robinson's legendary 71-point game
David Robinson became just the fourth player to register more than 70 points in a game, pulling off this accomplishment while battling Shaquille O´Neal for the league-scoring title in 1994. Only Kobe Bryant has scored more points in a single game during the 21st century, dropping 81 on the hapless Toronto Raptors back in 2006.
The Admiral scored the first 18 points of the game, and with the playoff positioning locked in, the coaching staff ordered his teammates to feed Robinson the ball in the paint at all costs. Head Coach John Lucas also made the controversial decision to ask his players to intentionally foul the Clippers on each possession with under two minutes left in regulation to stop the clock and give his superstar more opportunities to score. David eventually reached a franchise record of 71 points and bested Shaq for the scoring crown.
