The Raptors Want Jakob Poeltl Back
After including him as a small piece in the Kawhi Leonard trade, the Toronto Raptors want Jakob Poeltl back. Depending on what they have to offer, I say listen to them and might even lean on the side that says trade him. For a good return, he’s worth it, and the Spurs have some depth at center.
The Jazz are on the Edge
With their two stars at odds, no head coach yet, and no vision for the future, the Jazz are about to blow up. Either Rudy Gobert wants out or wants Donovan Mitchell out, so it looks like Utah won’t be a threat this season. Maybe the Spurs can grab one of the disgruntled stars.
The Wizards Never Learn
Bradley Beal is an excellent player, but in the playoffs, he has a losing record. Surrounding him with Kyle Kuzma, Rui Hachimura, Kristaps Porzingis, and Corey Kispert are all decent steps, but until he finds a co-star, the Wizards will not win. Plus, is Beal even a supermax player? Much like the Thunder, the Wizards are revealing themselves to be a team the Spurs won’t have to worry about.
