The Bucks Might Be Buyers

The Bucks need some extra shooting to surround Giannis Antetokounmpo and have also been looking for a small-ball power forward. Can I introduce Doug McDermott? The Spurs would be happy to move him and the Bucks are just the kind of team that he would flourish on.

The Timberwolves are in the Dejounte Sweepstakes

D'Angelo Russell is in the last year of his contract, so pairing him with some picks for DJ could actually be palatable for fans, and the Wolves have shown interest. After Russell’s contract ends, the Spurs could go all-in on year three Primo at the point and have plenty of picks to help build around him moving forward.

Trouble is Brewing in New Orleans

The Pelicans beat the Spurs in the Play-In Tournament last season, but with a full season of Ingram, McCollum, and Williamson, the Pelicans could be dark horse candidates to be a top seed. This is bad news for San Antonio, as a near bottom-feeder could be skyrocketing up.

The Knicks Also Want Dejounte

The Knicks have some interest in Murray, and they also have the young players to make it happen. Immanuel Quickley, Obi Toppin, Cam Reddish, and picks are all on the table.

The Thunder Should Provide Some Easy Games

In what has been a rather bleak list, the OKC Thunder will still be bad. Holmgren and Giddey are not there quite yet, and even though the Thunder want to retain Lu Dort, they might not be able to. Either way, the Thunder will be on the bottom for a few more seasons.

Mo Bamba Might Be Out of Magic in Orlando

With a fresh start with Jalen Suggs and Paolo Banchero, the Orlando Magic are probably not excited to resign Mo Bamba, meaning he could have a homecoming in the Lone Star State.
