When taking into account the unique style that Cleveland instituted last season, adding a high-impact, low-volume wing who can influence the game without demanding too many touches is crucial. One of the older players in this range of the draft conversation, Ochai Agbaji brings an NBA-ready frame and competitive spirit that are sure to translate for the upstart Cavs.

A phenomenal off-ball player who positions himself for easy baskets away from the rock, Agbaji is a knockdown shooter and elite at-rim finisher. His form is in the discussion for the purest of the class, elevating for jumpers that he drained at a 41.1% clip in his senior campaign at Kansas. Based on his skill-set, Agbaji makes a lot of sense playing off Darius Garland. While the latter breaks down defenses and threads dimes, the former does a wonderful job of positioning himself to score off assists.

He’s a selfless player who contributes to success by playing physical yet methodical defense with consistent effort. This will be his second time going through the NBA Draft process, but there’s reason to believe he could’ve been selected last year based on his defensive skill-set at 6-foot-5. After returning to college so he could prove himself as a scorer, Ogbaji solidified himself as a clear first-round pick with lottery consideration.

The big man rotation is set and Cleveland has its point guard of the future locked in. As soon as they figure out their wing rotation, this team has a shot at making some serious noise.
