The San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors will go head-to-head in Game 5 of their first-round series. A look at how to watch it online.
On Tuesday night, the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors will clash in Game 5 of their first-round series in the NBA playoffs. It moves back to Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA, after the past two games were at the AT&T Center. The Spurs managed to win the second of two matchups there on Sunday, toppling Golden State 103-90 in Game 4, avoiding the sweep and keeping this series alive.
The Silver and Black were red hot from 3-point range, making 15 shots from beyond the arc. It was their highest mark by far of the series, while Golden State struggled to hit shots; they were below 40 percent from the field, leading to Game 4’s outcome.
While the Spurs did not release an official injury report, Kawhi Leonard playing in Game 5 would be miraculous. He has not suited up since January, and there is no indication he will return this postseason.
According to ESPN, head coach Gregg Popovich will not be on the bench for Game 5. Top assistant Ettore Messina will take the lead duties against the Warriors. It is unknown when, or if, Popovich comes back to the sidelines this postseason.
