The San Antonio Spurs will host the Houston Rockets on Easter Sunday. A look at how to watch it online.
On Sunday afternoon, the San Antonio Spurs will face the Houston Rockets for the final time this season. These teams battled three times since October, all of which resulted in Houston victories, behind the play of James Harden, Chris Paul, Eric Gordon and others. Two of those games were at the Toyota Center, while this latest matchup will take place at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX.
The Spurs will not have Kawhi Leonard (return from injury management) against the Rockets. There’s still no timetable for his return, even after Saturday’s report from ESPN. Leonard returned to New York for his injury rehab, raising the notion that his comeback might not happen before the end of the 2017-18 season. That puts his playoff status in doubt, too. If anything, the start of 2018-19 seems like the best bet.
Either way, the Silver and Black will look to win their second consecutive game. Doing so would put them in position for a playoff spot, with just five games to follow in this quest for yet another postseason appearance. It’s a tight battle in the Western Conference, however, which might result in a race to the final game of the season.
