The San Antonio Spurs will hit the road for their annual Rodeo Road Trip. Let’s look at the full schedule of games for it.

Starting on Wednesday, Feb. 7, the San Antonio Spurs will start their annual Rodeo Road Trip. It’s when the San Antonio Rodeo takes over the AT&T Center throughout February, kicking the Silver and Black out of their arena and into other teams’ venues.

This road trip will take the Spurs away for most of the month, especially when considering the All-Star Break starts on Feb. 14 and concludes on the 23rd. How much further will it go from there?

With that said, let’s take a look at the full schedule for the upcoming Rodeo Road Trip:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 7 vs. Phoenix Suns at 9:30 p.m. CT
  • Saturday, Feb. 10 vs. Golden State Warriors at 7:30 p.m. CT
  • Monday, Feb. 12 vs. Utah Jazz at 8:00 p.m. CT
  • Tuesday, Feb. 13 vs. Denver Nuggets at 9:30 p.m. CT
  • Friday, Feb. 23 vs. Denver Nuggets at 8:00 p.m. CT
  • Sunday, Feb. 25 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers at 2:30 p.m. CT

Facing the Warriors and Cavaliers makes this an intriguing Rodeo Road Trip, along with back-to-back games vs. the Denver Nuggets, even though they are 10 days apart. It at least slows the road trip down a bit, despite the team potentially returning home for this extended break (unless it’s LaMarcus Aldridge, who will play in the NBA All-Star Game).

The Warriors game stands out the most. They defeated the Spurs in early November, making for the only time these teams matched up in the 2017-18 season. Cleveland will pose a threat, too, although its defense is suspect and among the worst in the league.

A successful road trip can put the Spurs closer to the Houston Rockets. It’s a tough journey ahead, but if the team works through these difficult opponents, it could move this team forward and out of the rut it has been in. How will the team play?
