On Friday night, the San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns will go head-to-head at the AT&T Center. A look at how to watch it online.
On Friday evening, the San Antonio Spurs will return home, after being on the road for the past three games. This matchup will be against the Phoenix Suns, who the Silver and Black previously faced in the 2017-18 season and defeated, 104-101. This was behind 20 points from LaMarcus Aldridge.
For the rematch, the Spurs will have Kawhi Leonard, who wasn’t available in this early-December game. However, Rudy Gay (right heel) and Danny Green (left groin) won’t suit up. That may mean more playing time for Kyle Anderson and Bryn Forbes, the latter of whom could start for the injured Green. He previously did this during the other instances of the former Tar Heel’s groin flare-up.
Aside from the injuries, the Spurs will attempt to break a mini slump. They’ve lost two of the past three games (Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons), and will attempt to change their luck, especially after the Houston Rockets fell to the Golden State Warriors. So, a win would push them closer to No. 2 in the Western Conference.
