The San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks will go head-to-head on Tuesday night. A look at how to watch this, and Kawhi Leonard’s long-awaited return to the lineup, online.
On Tuesday night, the San Antonio Spurs will return to the court for the 28th game of the 2017-18 season. It’s another matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, who the Silver and Black previously played.
This game will be a momentous occasion for the Spurs, as Kawhi Leonard makes his season debut. He missed the first 27 games, with a right quad injury. It was suffered in the offseason, and led to him missing these games, training camp and the preseason.
Without Leonard, the Spurs went 19-8, with the latest victory happening against the Phoenix Suns. They’re also third in the Western Conference standings — arguably higher than anyone expected when the Klaw’s injury was first announced.
The Spurs don’t return home until Saturday, so there won’t be a warm reception for Leonard at the American Airlines Center. However, for everyone, it will be a sight for sore eyes. Even with the team’s early-season success.
