The San Antonio Spurs will play their final preseason game on Friday night. A look at how to watch it online.
Friday night will be the final preseason game for the San Antonio Spurs. After facing the Sacramento Kings, Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic, the Silver and Black will go on the road and face the Houston Rockets, an expected competitor near the top of the Western Conference. The game takes place at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX.
San Antonio gets their first look at the Chris Paul-James Harden backcourt. The Rockets acquired Paul in the offseason, in one of the first blockbuster deals of the summer. He’s a perennial All-Star that’s still looking for his first NBA championship.
The Spurs and Rockets will likely battle for positioning throughout the 2017-18 NBA season. This game won’t mean anything toward it, and both teams may barely even play their best guys, too. So, it may only be a glimpse at what Houston can do, anyway, which is shooting 3-pointers at a higher rate than anyone in the NBA.
Don’t expect Kawhi Leonard in this game. The Spurs ruled him out for the preseason before it started on Oct 2. As of this writing, his return timetable is unknown. The regular season starts on Oct. 18, so there are five days of doubt until his status is officially known.
Details on how to watch Friday’s game between the Spurs and Rockets are below. This includes the start time, TV info, live stream and more. Yes, this game will actually be available to watch, unlike the first four preseason games. After this, every Spurs game will be available to view in some capacity.
