The San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings will go head-to-head in a preseason game on Friday night. Is this game available to watch online?
On Friday night, the San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings will battle in a preseason game. This is a rematch of Monday’s game that saw the Kings defeat the Spurs, 106-100. While it took place at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA, Game 2 will be at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX.
Game 1 saw LaMarcus Aldridge lead the way with 17 points. He even hit one 3-pointer, a shot he usually does not attempt. New Spurs acquisition Joffrey Lauvergne also chipped in 10 points, while Brandon Paul and Derrick White also made their first appearance for the team.
According to ESPN’s Michael C. Wright, Rudy Gay will make his Spurs debut vs the Kings. He didn’t play on Monday, as the coaching staff wanted to ease him into game action. It will be Gay’s first appearance since he ruptured his Achilles in January, as a member of the Kings.
The Silver and Black struggled to contain point guards Frank Mason and De’Aaron Fox, as they combed for 33 points. These rookies had their way, especially the latter and his easy drives to the basket. His athleticism was on full display, so will he be in for another strong performance on Friday evening?
Skal Labissiere also chipped in 15 points. The San Antonio big men had trouble defending him in the paint, no matter who guarded him. Willie Cauley-Stein also found success but fouled out in minutes.
For those looking to watch the Spurs vs. Kings, it will not be available to watch on television. There is no official live stream, either. That means box scores and social media updates will be your best bet at following the action.
