San Antonio Spurs: LaMarcus Aldridge’s NBA 2K18 rating revealed

San Antonio Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge received his NBA 2K18 overall rating. Where does he stand among other players at his position?
NBA 2K18 received its fair share of hype before the Sep. 15 release. The San Antonio Spurs were at the forefront for plenty of it. This included Kawhi Leonard’s mock “smiling rating” and the Spurs’ All-Time team for the game.
Leonard was the first Spur to receive his overall rating for the 2017-18 team. However, another one received his mark from 2K Sports.
The top 10 power forwards in NBA 2K18, by rating, were revealed on Monday. LaMarcus Aldridge was included in this, as he’ll be at 85. Where does he stand among the others?
- Anthony Davis – 94
- Draymond Green – 88
- Blake Griffin – 87
- Kevin Love – 87
- Paul Millsap – 87
- Kristaps Porzingis – 86
- LaMarcus Aldridge – 85
- Jabari Parker – 81
- Dirk Nowitzki – 80
- Zach Randolph – 80

It’s not a loaded position, especially at the bottom of the top 10. Randolph and Nowitzki are aging, while Parker is coming off a second major knee injury. Aldridge is even trending down.

Along with Aldridge and Leonard, Davis Bertans is the only other player to receive his rating (72). That leaves Pau Gasol, Tony Parker, Rudy Gay, Patty Mills and the rest of the roster yet to receive their marks.
The Spurs should be a fun team to play with in NBA 2K18. With Leonard as one of the league’s top stars, he alone gives gamers a reason to use this team. Aldridge and Gasol will provide a steady frontline, although not ones with the most range and athleticism to match the stretch four’s and undersized centers of the world.
This team may come down to the point guard ratings. With Parker aging, Mills never an elite player and Dejounte Murray and Derrick White still young, they may all have lower grades.
