San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard is away in China, seemingly having a good time. Manu Ginobili took notice of this and had some fun with it.

Since 2011, when the San Antonio Spurs traded up to select Kawhi Leonard in the NBA Draft, he’s risen every year and become a star. He’s the leader of the pack on the Spurs, and averages over 20 points per game (25.5 points in the 2016-17 season).

During this time, Leonard has taken on a quiet but serious attitude, similar to what Tim Duncan had in his 19 seasons with the Spurs. He keeps it cool on the basketball court and doesn’t show much emotion. That’s what made his trip to China stand out.

Leonard is in China, a trip he’s taken that’s received a few headlines. He’s at the country’s NBA offices, as seen with the photos below from the NBA Twitter account:

The San Diego State product is noticeably smiling in both photos. The same goes for the next tweet:

Manu Ginobili caught wind of Leonard’s cheesing and had a playful comeback to the photos. He replied to the tweet from the Spurs’ account:

What's going on? I saw him laughing/smiling more in thess two days than in the previous six seasons. Am I missing something? ???

It looks like Leonard keeps it serious on the court, but stays relaxed off it. He has two months to do this, before the 2017-18 NBA season starts in the middle of October. So, take in the happy version of Klaw now, until he gets stone cold and goes back to being one of the league’s best two-way players.

Let’s see if the NBA posts any more smiling photos of Leonard, along with the player (or players) that have fun with it.
