Murray, Bryn Forbes, and Davis Bertans all were on the Spurs official roster last year. Rookies White and Jaron Blossomgame will also be on the roster as they get their first taste of the NBA. Blossomgame was selected in Round 2 of the NBA Draft earlier in June.
Cady Lalanne and Livio Jean-Charles are two guys fans might be familiar with. Lalanne was drafted by the Spurs in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft. He played with the Austin Spurs during the 2015-2016 season and has played overseas with Capitanes de Arecibo and the Zhejiang Golden Bulls. Jean-Charles was drafted in the first round by San Antonio in the 2013 draft. He played with ASVEL from 2011-2016. He also played for the Austin Spurs during the 2016-2017 season before returning to ASVEL.
The Spurs have had success during summer league play. Lead by assistant Becky Hammon, they won the 2015 summer league championship defeating the Phoenix Suns 93-90 in the tournament championship game. Kyle Anderson was named MVP of the summer league, while Jonathan Simmons was named MVP of the championship.
San Antonio plays their first game on Monday, July 3 in Utah against the Jazz at 9:00 p.m., on NBA TV.
