Leonard, one of several notable NBA players signed to Jordan Brand, debuted the line’s newest shoe, the Air Jordan XXX, during the Spurs’ second-round matchup against Oklahoma City.
His logo which forms a ‘Claw’ was designed by Leonard himself. He was wanting to make it as perfect and genuine as can be. “I started working on this logo several years ago,” he said. “It took awhile to develop. I started by tracing my hand, then figured out how to incorporate the K, the L and my number 2. I’m happy with how it turned out.”
Nick Depaula, who specializes in NBA Shoe Deals and Brand Interviews, sent out a tweet showing Leonard’s new custom shoe.

The design of the shoe fits Leonard’s personality. The grayscale gradient colorway on these unworn kicks is designed to match the team’s alternate “Signature Spurs” uniform and features Leonard’s trademark “Claw” logo embroidered on the tongue.
Jordan Brand designed the shoe for Leonard to wear if the Spurs were to make it deeper into the playoffs. As we all know now, their run fell short and sneakerheads will have to wait until next season to catch a glimpse of the shoe.
