San Antonio Spurs Will Rest Six Players Friday Against Nuggets

The San Antonio Spurs released their injury report for Friday’s game against the Denver Nuggets. Head Coach Gregg Popovich will be resting six players, four of which are starters.
Coming off of a battle with the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, Popovich did mention that he would be sitting players for their matchup with Denver.

Diaw has missed the teams last three games and did not make the teams three game road-trip. LaMarcus Aldridge would be the one to benefit from the night off as he injured his finger on the bottom of the backboard in Thursday’s contest. He played 29 minutes and shot 5-of-16 from the floor.
San Antonio (65-13) is 26-13 on the road the season. Denver (32-47) is 17-22 at home.
