What are the keys to a San Antonio Spurs victory against Dallas?

LaMarcus Aldridge vs. Dirk Nowitzki

In past seasons, fans have been accustomed to seeing Tim Duncan match up with Dirk Nowitzki. With LaMarcus Aldridge in town, Duncan has shifted to center, which means Aldridge will match up with the star big man. Despite being 37-years-old Nowitzki is still reliable posting averages of 17.8 points and 6.8 rebounds. Aldridge must be prepared for Dirk as he is still capable of scoring 25 points any given night.

-Tony Parker Time

Many people wrote Tony Parker off after a disappointing 2014-15 campaign, particularly in the playoffs. This season Parker has been sharper especially as of late. In the last two games Parker has a total of 55 points. Maybe Parker still has it.

-Contain Mavericks shooting

The Dallas Mavericks are seventh in three-pointers made per game (9.5). Dallas has many guys that can shoot it from downtown whether it’s Chandler Parsons, J.J. Barea, Wesley Matthews, Dirk Nowitzki, or Deron Williams.

Prediction:

95. 79. . 106. 29

The Mavericks will hang around it seems as if they always come ready to play San Antonio. The San Antonio Spurs will pull away thanks to their stingy top-ranked defense. Nevertheless it should be an entertaining game.
