John Wall and Bradley Beal form one of the best backcourts in the league. It appears that there’s a terrific chance that both players make the All-Star Game this season. Beal is averaging 25.3 points and 4.3 rebounds this year. Wall is averaging 22 points and 6.7 assists. The key to beating the Wizards is stopping their two talented guards. I expect Kawhi Leonard to defend Beal, while Danny Green will defend Otto Porter Jr.

Danny Green has been miserable on offense this season. The sharpshooter is averaging five points on 29 percent field goals and 12 percent threes. Don’t expect Green to remain cold, as he is a career 42 percent shooter from downtown.

The Wizards frontcourt isn’t like it was a few season’s ago when Marcin Gortat was playing better and Nene was healthy. Gortat is still a solid big man who averages 9.3 points and 7.3 rebounds, but he isn’t anywhere near elite. LaMarcus Aldridge and Tim Duncan should have their way in this one.

Prediction:

The Washington Wizards will battle due to the guard play. At the end of the day the Spurs are the much more talented team. Aldridge and the bench will end up being the difference in this one.
