Friday afternoon, the NBA and Adidas unveiled the Christmas Day jerseys and socks for eight teams, including the San Antonio Spurs.
The silver and black will battle the Houston Rockets at 8 p.m. ET on Christmas Day, and San Antonio will be taking the court in style.
One of the first things you first notice are the dreaded sleeves have been removed from the uniforms, which have a subtle look while featuring the team colors and what the NBA called a “holiday-style script.”

The NBA released a statement about the uniforms:
“This year’s uniforms incorporate primary team colors and cream tones, while player names and numbers are showcased in holiday-style script and detailed with woven rows of stitching. A scarlet NBA seal is also displayed on the back of the jersey as a nod to holiday greeting cards.”
Spurs fans reacted to the news on Twitter and mostly seemed to welcome the special uniforms. See for yourself:
