LaMarcus Aldridge and David West Will Make Debut

The San Antonio Spurs begin their preseason play, when they take on the Sacramento Kings. Spurs fans have a big reason to be excited, as LaMarcus Aldridge and David West will play in their first game in a Spurs uniform. Yes, it’s not the regular season, but it will be interesting to see and it’s still an official game.

Kawhi Leonard will look to take the next step as a star player this season. Second year forward Kyle Anderson is looking to make an impact after a terrific Summer League run. Veterans Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills, and Boris Diaw are ready to roll for the San Antonio Spurs, after a tough opening round loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

It will be fun to see how Jonathon Simmons and Jimmer Fredette play, as they are fighting to make the roster.

Rajon Rondo Looking to Revive His Career

The Sacramento Kings have the talent to win, as they have many new faces in town. Kosta Koufos, Marco Belinelli, Caron Butler, and Rajon Rondo were acquired in the offseason. With the seventh pick in the NBA Draft, the Kings took Willie Cauley-Stein. The player Kings fans will be interested in seeing, is Rondo. Last season with the Celtics in the first 22 games he averaged 8.3 points, 10.8 assists, and 7.5 rebounds. When Rondo was traded to the Dallas Mavericks, things changed. Rondo averaged 9.3 points and 6.5 assists.

More from Air Alamo

Rondo should have the keys to running the Kings offense, as

Darren Collison

is the only threat to taking playing time from him. The Kings season may go as Rondo does. If Rondo does well, the Kings may be a borderline playoff team, as they have a terrific duo in

Rudy Gay

and

DeMarcus Cousins

.

Who Will Win?

The Sacramento Kings will come out with some fire to them, they are at home and will look forward to beating one of the better teams in the league. Cousins will have a big game for the Kings, as they will sneak by and win a tightly contested game. Spurs fans can expect a good game from Aldridge as well.
