Becky Hammon Did It All By Herself

Where there you have it folks, Coach Becky Hammon took her Summer League all the way to the finals also a championship. Not only did she make history to become the first woman to coach a summer league team, she also became the first woman to win it all. That shows a lot from Hammon, especially coming from a first year job as assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs.

Now that she has proved to the world that she can coach a team, everyone will wonder what is next for Hammon. She was focused throughout the whole summer and made sure her team was up to speed when it came to running plays and not letting the game slip away. She has been mentored by other assistant coaches on the Spurs and especially the future hall of fame coach Gregg Popovich.

Everything is coming into play with Hammon and she has used this knowledge to coach her summer league team the best way possible. The 2015 season is around the corner and Hammon will surely get more tips and pointers on the bench. If she decided to coach next summer for the Spurs and happens to win again, then you know she is definitely listening and also a coach that you should not mess with.
