Looks like James Borrego is headed back to San Antonio. Borrego was currently the interim coach for the Orlando Magic but has found a spot with the San Antonio Spurs.

Back in 2001, Borrego use to be an assistant video coordinator for the team. By looking at tape from games with coach Gregg Popovich, allowed him to see certain plays that were done and how things could be improved for future games. Throughout the years he took a future role as lead assistant coach in 2012 with the Magic.

Borrego can now show his coaching skills as he sits next to a future Hall of Fame coach in Popovich and learn a few more things about how to win ball games. The time is now for Borrego and when the 2015-16 starts again in late October, Borrego will be ready to make things happen on the bench with the rest of the team.
