After winning game five on the road, the Spurs did the unthinkable, they lost for the second consecutive time at home. While both teams played well enough to win, it was the Clippers that wanted it a little more.

Early on you could sense the Clippers came to play as they went up 19-12 in the middle of the first quarter. The Spurs and Clippers played evenly the rest of the first half as they were tied at 51. Marco Belinelli made four threes in the second quarter.
In the third quarter the Clippers outplayed the Spurs. After shooting 0-7 from the field in the first half, Chris Paul woke up. Paul had 8 points in the final 5 minutes of the third.
Early in the fourth quarter the Clippers got some breathing room as they went up seven points multiple times. The closest the Spurs got in the game, was when they trailed 2 after Belinelli connected on a triple with 14 seconds to play in the game. Jamal Crawford made a set of free-throws to close the game.
The Clippers were simply the more efficient team as they shot 48% from the field, while the Clippers shot 43%. The Spurs stuck around because of their three-point shooting (12-28), the Clippers only went 4-18.
Belinelli led the Spurs with 23 points on 7-11 threes in only 22 minutes. Boris Diaw added 17 points and 5 assists.
