San Antonio Spurs vs Los Angeles Clippers: Game 4 Prediction, Keys, Injuries

By George Middleton

The San Antonio Spurs will take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday afternoon at the AT&T Center for game 4 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT and will be televised on ABC. The game can also be heard on the radio on WOAI 1200 AM.

The Spurs beat the Clippers 100-73 on Friday night. Kawhi Leonard was spectacular as he went for 32 points on 13-18 from the field.

Keys to Beating Clippers in Game 4

-Three-Point Defense

In game 3 the Clippers went 6-23 from three-point range. J.J. Redick has yet to get going for the Clippers in the series as he has averaged 11 points in the series. Jamal Crawford was really bad on Friday, as he 5 points on 1-11 from the field. Expect the two guards to get going and a much better performance from Chris Paul in game 4.

Tony Parker Must Get Going

I have been one to say that the Spurs should just start Patty Mills. Tony Parker is simply not the same with his injury. In the series Parker is averaging 5.7 points on 25% field goals. If Parker is out there he can’t continue to play like this if not they must let Mills loose.

Game 4 won’t be like game 3 but the Spurs will win. Neither team will reach the 100 points mark in this one, but neither team will be sloppy like the Clippers were on Friday. Expect Tim Duncan to bounce back after an unlike Duncan performance in game 3.
