The game wasn’t close as the Spurs took control early. For the second straight game they took control early and they never looked back. After the Spurs went up 11-2 early in the contest the Kings came back and even led through the first quarter, 27-26.

The Spurs outscored the Kings 28-11 in a dominant second quarter and they never looked back. The Spurs went up by as many as 40 points in the fourth quarter.

The Spurs were simply the much more efficient on Wednesday as they shot 53% from the field compared to the Kings 37%. The Spurs finished with 10 blocks and 13 steals on defense.

The Spurs out-rebounded the Kings 44-35. Five Spurs finished with at least 5 rebounds. Jeff Ayres had seven rebounds in 10 minutes leading the Spurs.

Kawhi Leonard led the Spurs with 21 points, Tony Parker added 19 points.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 14 points and had 3 steals.
