San Antonio Spurs Player Grades in Win Over Phoenix Suns

The San Antonio Spurs won their 10th in their last 11 meetings against the Suns Friday night, defeating Phoenix at home 100-95.

The Spurs, up by as many as 14 in the first half, blew their huge lead over the middle two quarters.

Trailing by 10 points entering the fourth quarter, San Antonio did not give in however, rallying with a huge final quarter to steal the game from Phoenix. The Spurs outscored the Suns 41-26 over the final 12 minutes.

Danny Green led the way for San Antonio, scoring a game high 20. Patty Mills was also impressive, 15 points off the bench.

Eric Bledsoe did most of the damage for Phoenix, finishing with 19 points, five rebounds, and 10 assists. P.J. Tucker had a surprising game for the Suns, scoring 19.

A+. Danny Green came up huge for San Antonio Friday night, contributing a game high 20 points. He was also key in the Spurs fourth quarter comeback, scoring nine of his 20 points in the final period. Green also added four rebounds, two steals, and two blocks, making for a fantastic night. If Green did not have his great performance against the Suns, it’s likely the Spurs would be one game back for the West’s seventh seed rather than one game up.. SG. San Antonio Spurs. DANNY GREEN
