On Tuesday night the San Antonio Spurs lost to the Detroit Pistons in heartbreaking fashion. The Spurs were up by one with eight seconds remaining, when Tim Duncan threw a turnover and Brandon Jennings hit a game winning floater off the glass with 0.1 seconds.

The Spurs had control early, as they held an eight point lead at the half. The Pistons however took over in the third quarter, as they outscored the Spurs, 33-19.

The Spurs are now 21-15 on the year and are now only a loss ahead of the Phoenix Suns, who are in eighth place in a loaded Western Conference.

The Pistons are now 6-0 since the Josh Smith trade, they were 5-23 with him.

Pistons center Andre Drummond was the best player on the floor, as he finished with 20 points and 17 rebounds.

Jeff Ayres led the Spurs in scoring with 16 points in 17 minutes.
