San Antonio Spurs Player Grades in Win Over Washington Wizards

The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Washington Wizards for their 17th straight time on Saturday night, winning 101-92 at home.

The Spurs battled back from an early 10 deficit to keep up their winning ways against the Wizards. The win also marked San Antonio’s second straight win and their 14th straight win at home versus Washington.

The Spurs attack was led by Cory Joseph, who after battling an upper respiratory infection in the prior two days, came out to score 19 points.

The Wizards were led by the John Wall and Bradley Beal combo as each scored 15 points.

Overall, both teams had a well-rounded attack, with each having six players in double figures

CORY JOSEPH. A+. Cory Joseph was fantastic for the Spurs on Saturday night despite fighting an upper respiratory infection over the previous two days. Joseph scored a game high 19 points against the Wizards while picking up four assists and four rebounds. He also blocked two shots, adding to his impressive night. Another key stat was Joseph’s zero turnovers committed. Sure Joseph could have done more on the defensive end in slowing done John Wall, however, considering he has suffering with a cold two days, you can’t ask for a better performance.. PG.
