The San Antonio Spurs were shorthanded as they took on the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night. They were without Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard, and Tiago Splitter.

The game was supposed to be incredibly difficult as it was the second game of a back-to-back against a Mavericks team that just acquired Rajon Rondo. Nobody seemed to tell that to the Spurs as they were up for a good portion of the game and even had a 77-75 lead through three quarters.

The Mavericks outscored the Spurs 24-16 in the fourth quarter, thanks to Monta Ellis. Ellis finished with 38 points, 13 in the fourth.

Marco Belinelli led the Spurs with 21 points and Aron Baynes went for 16 points and 10 rebounds.
