The San Antonio Spurs were upset on Friday night against the Los Angeles in overtime 112-110. Kawhi Leonard missed the contest with a bruised right hand.

Surprisingly the Lakers actually controlled the game as they led the entire second half until with a little more than a minute to play in overtime, when Tim Duncan made a layup to go up one.

Kobe Bryant, who needed 30 points to tie Michael Jordan in the NBA’s all time scoring list, fell short but he finished with 22 points and 9 assists. Nick Young hit the game winning three for the Lakers with seven seconds to play in overtime with Manu Ginobili draped all over him. Young finished with 29 off the bench, hitting 6 of 9 threes.

The Spurs are now 8-2 at home and 16-7 overall.
