The San Antonio Spurs were victorious yet again, picking up their second straight victory last night in a 113-100 win over the Golden State Warriors.

The win was impressive considering the Spurs aging stars played heavy minutes the night before in an 89-85 win in Los Angeles versus the Clippers. San Antonio showed once again why they are the defending champions by winning two back-to-back games against playoff teams.

The victory last night was also special because Tim Duncan recorded his 14,000th rebound, the 11th player in NBA history to reach that mark and joining Kevin Garnett as the only active players with those rebound numbers.

The Spurs offense was great in the win with the team shooting a nice 49.5% from the field and 40% from three. San Antonio also practiced great ball control for the second straight night committing only eight turnovers.

Tony Parker led the way for the San Antonio Spurs, scoring 28 points while picking up seven assists. He was not the only Spurs that was good though. San Antonio saw five players score in double figures with two of those players coming off the bench.

The Warriors were not so good, having their star point guard Stephen Curry finish the game 0-of-7 from three, snapping a 75 game streak of games with at least one three-pointer made.
